Enjoy a light-hearted look at dinosaurs in contemporary culture. Displays include examples of how dinosaurs appear in our everyday life - millions of years after their extinction.

Little Urban Farm
Little Urban Farm will vividly illustrate to children and families the crucial role that farms play in all our lives.
The exhibit features everything from seeding to harvesting and learning all about the importance of providing good stewardship of the earth's natural resources.

Dinosaurs Alive! Life-size Animatronic Dinosaurs at the Heard
Nine life-size animatronic dinosaurs will return to the Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary. Favorite dinosaurs such as the Dilophosaurus (popular for spitting water) and the timeless Tyrannosaurus-Rex will once again make a temporary home on the Heard sanctuary. New dinosaurs include a Tyrannosaurus-Rex baby, Iguanodon, Crylophosaurus, Chasmosaurus (along with its baby), Amargasaurus, Muttaburrasaurus, Suchomimus and Therizinosaurus. Kids will also enjoy playing on the static Apatosaurus and Parasaurolophus baby dinosaurs.

Planet Shark: Predator or Prey
This out-of-water experience takes you through the murky myths and fascinating facts which have surrounded sharks for centuries. You’ll see explanations and examinations of almost every aspect of the shark – from evolution and biology to popular culture. You’ll gain a whole new level of respect for the ocean’s oldest and deadliest predator.

Encountering Space
In approximately twelve works of art from the Museum’s collections—including the paintings Eiffel Tower by Robert Delaunay and High-Speed Gardening by Michael Bevilaqua, the sculptures Mercury’s Gift to the Mirror by Michelangelo, Pistoletto and Three Men Walking by Alberto Giacometti, and a 16th-century Benin wooden plaque from Nigeria and an ancient clay vessel from Peru’s Moche civilization—Encountering Space explores the different ways space affects us, both physically and emotionally, and the impact of these reactions on our total experience with a work of art.

Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo
The Fort Worth Stock Show is more than just a rodeo - a wide array of activities and events will entertain Stock Show guests. The carnival midway thrills the young and not so young while fashions, home furnishings as well as farm and ranch equipment will be offered by more than 200 exhibitors. Food for every taste will be found over the entire Will Rogers Complex. Of course the Stock Show is about “stock” and visitors will have the opportunity to see the best cattle, horses, sheep and many other species on display at one of the best livestock events the nation has to offer. A Carnival & Midway (priced separately) is available.
