Stingray Bay
Feel the gentle rays as they brush against your hand in their shallow pool. The landscaped tank features a waterfall and a wide ledge for toddlers to lean against while touching the rays. The rays' poisonous barbs have been carefully trimmed off their whip-like tails.

1893 World's Fair
The influence of the 1893 World’s Fair in Chicago on Dallas and Texas residents will be explored. The Village has created special exhibits and programming including lectures, demonstrations and special events. Martin Puryear

Kehinde Wiley
Kehinde Wiley creates larger-than-life-size portraits that mix historical Western European painting styles such as French Romanticism, Rococo, and Baroque with images from contemporary urban streets. While the artist evokes important and highly recognizable paintings from the past, he replaces those works’ elite white sitters with African-American men.

A New Perspective On Mars
Exhibit complete with eighteen 10’ x 7’ photographs to be viewed with free 3-D glasses. Designed by the German Aerospace Center, it guides visitors through mankind’s former theories and increasing knowledge of our galactic neighbor. In addition to the stunningly clear images from the European Space Agency’s unmanned spacecraft, the Mars Express, the exhibit will include four information arcs and address frequently asked questions including the possibility of life on Mars, the history of Mars exploration, and the prospect of eventual human travel to the planet.

Project Playhouse
Visit five miniature detailed and furnished “mansions” constructed by a select group of home builders for Project Playhouse. The project is a fundraiser for HomeAid Dallas, the non-profit charity of the Home Builders Association of Greater Dallas.

Fort Worth Landmarks in the 1950s: Watercolors by Bror Utter
Seventeen brilliant watercolors by Bror Utter (1913–1993) depict historic Fort Worth structures, some of which still stand while others were torn down many years ago. The Eddleman-McFarland House, St. Ignatius Academy, Knights of Pythias, and First National Bank are some of the buildings represented.
