Feel the gentle rays as they brush against your hand in their shallow pool. The landscaped tank features a waterfall and a wide ledge for toddlers to lean against while touching the rays. The rays' poisonous barbs have been carefully trimmed off their whip-like tails.

Kehinde Wiley
Kehinde Wiley creates larger-than-life-size portraits that mix historical Western European painting styles such as French Romanticism, Rococo, and Baroque with images from contemporary urban streets. Fort Worth Landmarks in the 1950s: Watercolors by Bror Utter
Seventeen brilliant watercolors by Bror Utter (1913–1993) depict historic Fort Worth structures, some of which still stand while others were torn down many years ago. The Eddleman-McFarland House, St. Ignatius Academy, Knights of Pythias, and First National Bank are some of the buildings represented.

Drawing From the Collection For Children
Does your child show an avid interest in art?  Would he or she like to take a drawing class? If so, Drawing from the Collection for Children may be just that class! Children will become acquainted with the Modern’s collection while developing drawing skills by looking and learning with local artists who lead informal basic drawing classes in the galleries. Parents are welcome to accompany their children. Bring a sketchbook and pencils or purchase materials from The Modern Shop. No registration is required. Attendance is limited to 15, so arrive early to ensure your participation.
