The Laurie Berkner Band
Award-winning, best-selling children’s music superstars The Laurie Berkner Band with Susie Lampert and Adam Bernstein will make their much anticipated return to Dallas with a concert celebrating the release of their first new CD since 2002, Rocketship Run. Sentimental Journey: The Art of Alfred Jacob Miller
Embark on a captivating visual adventure in this special exhibition of paintings and drawings by Alfred Jacob Miller (1810–1874), the first American artist to journey into the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Art Along El Camino Real
Look into the rich cultural history of the Hispanic heritage. The exhibit follows a path from Spain to Mexico onto El Camino Real (the Royal Highway) which led to North America through El Paso and on to New Spain which became New Mexico. The exhibit includes paintings and 3-dimensional sculptures that are hand carved from wood, and reflects the work of some of today's most talented contemporary artists.

Dinosaurs Alive! Life-size Animatronic Dinosaurs at the Heard
Nine new and two “famous” life-size animatronic dinosaurs will return to the Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary. Favorite dinosaurs such as the Dilophosaurus (popular for spitting water) and the timeless Tyrannosaurus-Rex will once again make a temporary home on the Heard sanctuary. New dinosaurs include a Tyrannosaurus-Rex baby, Iguanodon, Crylophosaurus, Chasmosaurus (along with its baby), Amargasaurus, Muttaburrasaurus, Suchomimus and Therizinosaurus. Kids will also enjoy playing on the static Apatosaurus and Parasaurolophus baby dinosaurs.

In Pursuit of the Masters: Stories from the Raymond and Patsy Nasher Collection
To mark its 5th anniversary, the Nasher Sculpture Center will mount an exhibition in celebration of its founders. Featuring the great masterworks of the collection, as well as a selection of significant and personally meaningful works from its humble beginnings, the exhibition highlights the personal stories behind the works of art, including Patsy and Raymond Nasher’s partnership in pursuit of the finest examples of modern and contemporary sculpture; their close friendships with artists, art dealers, and curators; and the insights that came from living with and sharing the works of art that they loved

Blending the Old and the New: Quilts by Paul D. Pilgrim
Exhibit features 29 quilts from the Paul D. Pilgrim Collection at the Museum of the American Quilter’s Society in Paducah, Kentucky. The late Paul Pilgrim collected antique "orphan quilt blocks" and pieced quilts from them that display a true blending of contemporary sensibility and antique charm.

Pumpkin Patch visit includes a bounce house, tractor playground, train ride, petting zoo, hay ride, maze, and a pumpkin patch where the kids get to pick a pie sized pumpkin and decorate it with stencils and markers. The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow
Early on a September morning the villagers of Sleepy Hollow await their new schoolmaster. His genteel manners and his hymn singing impress the ladies, including Katrina Van Tassel, the town belle. The menfolk are less thrilled, especially Brom Bones, Katrina's beau, and he begins plotting to rid himself of his unwelcome rival. Matters come to a head during the Van Tassel's Halloween party, after which the superstitious Ichabod is accosted on his lonely ride home by a fiendish apparition, the Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow. The next morning Ichabod has disappeared, leaving behind only a song in the wind, and a new legend is born.
