Sentimental Journey: The Art of Alfred Jacob Miller
Embark on a captivating visual adventure in this special exhibition of paintings and drawings by Alfred Jacob Miller (1810–1874), the first American artist to journey into the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Mary Lucier: The Plains of Sweet Regret
Enter a hauntingly beautiful world of landscape and loss in a video installation that brings into view, through music and imagery, the rapid depopulation of the northern plains. Art Along El Camino Real
Look into the rich cultural history of the Hispanic heritage. The exhibit follows a path from Spain to Mexico onto El Camino Real (the Royal Highway) which led to North America through El Paso and on to New Spain which became New Mexico. The exhibit includes paintings and 3-dimensional sculptures that are hand carved from wood, and reflects the work of some of today's most talented contemporary artists.

Top Secret: Mission Toy
We all know that kids play with toys because it’s fun, but did you know that toys also help children develop important cognitive, social and motor skills? They help socialize children, teaching them to share, compromise and cooperate with their peers. Many toys also foster creativity and imagination, critical thinking and problem-solving. But nobody knows toys better than kids. That’s why the Museum of Science and History is calling in the experts. Young guests will don a lab coat and embark on an important mission: to inspect toys from around the world. They’ll use their investigative and playtime skills to check out dolls and balls and secret codes, find out why tops are tops, and how string can be a fascinating thing.

Dinosaurs Alive! Life-size Animatronic Dinosaurs at the Heard
Nine new and two “famous” life-size animatronic dinosaurs will return to the Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary. Favorite dinosaurs such as the Dilophosaurus (popular for spitting water) and the timeless Tyrannosaurus-Rex will once again make a temporary home on the Heard sanctuary. New dinosaurs include a Tyrannosaurus-Rex baby, Iguanodon, Crylophosaurus, Chasmosaurus (along with its baby), Amargasaurus, Muttaburrasaurus, Suchomimus and Therizinosaurus. Kids will also enjoy playing on the static Apatosaurus and Parasaurolophus baby dinosaurs.

In Pursuit of the Masters: Stories from the Raymond and Patsy Nasher Collection
To mark its 5th anniversary, the Nasher Sculpture Center will mount an exhibition in celebration of its founders. Featuring the great masterworks of the collection, as well as a selection of significant and personally meaningful works from its humble beginnings, the exhibition highlights the personal stories behind the works of art, including Patsy and Raymond Nasher’s partnership in pursuit of the finest examples of modern and contemporary sculpture; their close friendships with artists, art dealers, and curators; and the insights that came from living with and sharing the works of art that they loved

Original book illustrations by children's author and artist Denise Fleming. The Backyardigans
Nickelodeon's backyard friends, The Backyardigans, come to life for preschoolers in their brand-new live show, The Backyardigans Live! Tale of the Mighty Knights! Along the way, Grabbing Goblin Austin and Flighty Fairy Tasha join the medieval mayhem as the runaway egg hatches feet and makes an unexpected dash all the way up to Dragon Mountain!
