Sentimental Journey: The Art of Alfred Jacob Miller
Embark on a captivating visual adventure in this special exhibition of paintings and drawings by Alfred Jacob Miller (1810–1874), the first American artist to journey into the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Art Along El Camino Real
Look into the rich cultural history of the Hispanic heritage. The exhibit follows a path from Spain to Mexico onto El Camino Real (the Royal Highway) which led to North America through El Paso and on to New Spain which became New Mexico. The exhibit includes paintings and 3-dimensional sculptures that are hand carved from wood, and reflects the work of some of today's most talented contemporary artists.

Dinosaurs Alive! Life-size Animatronic Dinosaurs at the Heard
Nine new and two “famous” life-size animatronic dinosaurs will return to the Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary. Favorite dinosaurs such as the Dilophosaurus (popular for spitting water) and the timeless Tyrannosaurus-Rex will once again make a temporary home on the Heard sanctuary. New dinosaurs include a Tyrannosaurus-Rex baby, Iguanodon, Crylophosaurus, Chasmosaurus (along with its baby), Amargasaurus, Muttaburrasaurus, Suchomimus and Therizinosaurus. Kids will also enjoy playing on the static Apatosaurus and Parasaurolophus baby dinosaurs.

Blending the Old and the New: Quilts by Paul D. Pilgrim
Exhibit features 29 quilts from the Paul D. Pilgrim Collection at the Museum of the American Quilter’s Society in Paducah, Kentucky. The late Paul Pilgrim collected antique "orphan quilt blocks" and pieced quilts from them that display a true blending of contemporary sensibility and antique charm.
