Overview Metroplex Baby & Kids is pleased to offer its readers a free Community where parents can set up their own personalized home pages; upload, view and share photos, video and audio; post their own blogs; ask and answer questions on message boards; set up RSS feeds to follow posts and uploads from friends and other members; and send and receive private messages to and from members. Use of this Community is governed by the Community Terms of Use. "How To" Tutorial We have created page snapshots to walk you through joining and contributing to the Community. Please click here to view/print the tutorial. Message Board Policies Misuse of the Message Boards will result in user bans and blocks. Please review and abide by the "Posting and Transmitting Content" section of the Community Terms of Use. The Boards are policed by us, as well as by members who are entitled to flag inappropriate posts and materials. In an effort to keep the Boards "troll-free," we prohibit posting any type of advertisement, including mention of home-based businesses, "giveaway" blogs, and any and all business and/or service in which the poster has a personal or financial interest. Members who own their own businesses may include links within their Member Profiles; but cannot include links or any mention on the Message Boards. Post Limitations Post cannot exceeds 15,000 characters. The character count includes imbedded html code. If pasting from a Word document, copy and paste the contents of the post into textpad and then copy and paste it into you message board posting. This will remove all "hidden" HTML tags that Word is creating except while maintaining linebreaks. Searchability You may search key words in previous posts by using the search bar on the top right. Member Profiles Member profiles are public. User names cannot be changed. You can upload your own profile photo, use our pre-generated avatar or create and upload your own. Uploads Please note that uploads are restricted by size. Videos are limited to Max 100 MB. Blog entries are limited to 40,000 characters. |
