Last year in the U.S., a
child six years of age or younger was poisoned every 30
seconds because most adults don't know how to "poison
proof." Our speaker Pam Manzo has been employed full time as
a Public Health Educator for the
North Texas Poison Center since October 2008 and serves
as a volunteer member of the Organizational Outreach
Partnership Program of the Public Education Committee within
the American Association of Poison Control Centers.

right away. Do not wait for the victim to look or feel sick.
