Successful photographer Jordan Elyse built Simply Fresh Prints from a vision to combine her passion for photography and her love for children with her desire to help parents bring their personal images to life on stationary. Through her extensive training in photography across the United States and Europe, and her on-the job training as a mother, Jordan provides families with beautiful memories they will be proud to share with the world. .





MM - What drove you to create Simply Fresh Prints?

I have always offered birth announcements and holiday cards to my clients. I used to receive so many phone calls and emails asking if moms can send in their own pictures. I also received so many cards this past holiday season all designed by the company and many of the same cards. Many of the pictures on the cards were blurry and unedited. I thought why not design a line of cards that were unique and provided moms the service of editing and retouching their photographs. So if you have a picture that you think would be so great on stationary if only there was no red-eye, if only it did not have that tree branch in the background, Simply Fresh Prints can professionally re-touch the photo and turn it into unique announcements, invitations, thank you cards, or even gift stickers.  


MM - Do you have any words of wisdom for moms who would like to start their own business?

Don't be afraid to realize you are going to need some help with your kids and go for it! If you believe in your product or service you can make it happen!


MM - How do you balance work and motherhood??

Somedays I am not sure! It’s definitely a hard thing to do but when you can make your own schedule its great to be able to make time for both your kids and work. It's a lot work but also a lot of fun. I try to designate work days and days I stay home. I find myself always working at night when the kids go to sleep but its worth it. I love what I do! 


MM - How do you preserve your own precious memories?

I make a coffee table book once a year for each child. I include about 75 pictures from their year on life. I have my sons first 2 years complete and I am working on his 3rd year and my daughters 1st year! I also have a family website where I share all my millions of pictures with families and friends.


MM - Do you have a motto you would like to share with other moms?

HELP???? Not really!
