Nancy Suttle
Nancy Suttle  Nancy Suttle, a Second Grade at Bethany Elementary in Plano inspired her student Roxanna. Roxanna's Mom wrote:

Mrs. Suttle is an exceptional teacher. Her heart is in what she does. She does not allow interruptions during her teaching time. She is so positive and keeps the students challenged. She builds self-esteem and confidence in her students. She gives good hugs! I am impressed by her mannerism, support, and kindness. She is stern when she has to be. She sees the potential in each and every student. Mrs. Suttle is an old school, yet modern-day teacher. She is loved by her new and old students. She is always smiling. She is such a strong person. She was smiling on the days when her sister was sick and did not feel so well. She was positive and a dear after the death of her sister. She was a true sport. All her students (new and old) love her dearly and so does every mom that has gotten to know her. Bless her and keep her well for all the students that have had her as their teacher and all the ones that will have the honor of having her as their teacher.

Angie Jenkins
Angie Jenkins  Angie Jenkins, a TLC-Special Ed. teacher at Ashley Elementary School in Frisco inspired her student Brandt. Brandt's Mom wrote:

Angie Jenkins is a step above the rest. She is the lead teacher in one of the Autism classes at Ashley Elementary. Her class name is the Total Language Class (TLC) and it is centered around helping non-verbal children with Autism learn to speak as well as other many academic goals. While most special education teachers are very understanding and patient, Ms. Jenkins takes it to a new level. She has loved my son and helped him with every struggle we have encountered. She has made it very clear that we are all a team in my son's goals and education and that if we all work together, big things can happen. I feel that Ms. Jenkins should be honored as an example of what the All-American teacher should be: Honest, Caring, Professional, Trustworthy, Patient and Creative. I feel safe when my son is in Ms. Jenkins care and know that he is getting the most out of his day. She deserves this award!

Angela Duncan
Angela Duncan  Angela Duncan, a 3rd Grade teacher at Bilhartz Elementary in Duncanville inspired her student Mariah. Mariah's Mom wrote:

First let me start by saying Mrs. Duncan is by far my favorite teacher that my daughter Mariah has had. In the beginning of the year, my daughter had so much trouble learning 3rd grade math, reading comp. and spelling. (She was getting 30's and 40's in math and reading) It was a struggle day to day not only at school, but at home too. Mariah was having trouble adjusting to a new baby and to another brother who was having surgery...through it all Mrs. Duncan has been so supportive school wise (but also as a friend to me, and that is very important to a parent at least to me) sitting with her everyday making sure she understands the reading and math material for TAKS, keeping in contact with me to see what we can do as a team to better Mariah's performance. I am happy to say that Mariah is now making 80's and 90's in reading, math, and spelling. Mariah is about to take her TAKS test next week. Mariah says she feels confident that she will pass thanks to Mrs. Duncan's help. She (Mrs. Duncan) is amazing, and she deserves to be teacher of the Month.

Audrey Sumrall
Audrey Sumrall  Audrey Sumrall, a 2nd Grade teacher at Cooper Elementary in Garland inspired her student Jaylon. Jaylon's Mom wrote:

Jaylon has struggled each year in school. He is a little overwhelmed and intimidated with school. When he got to Cooper in 2nd grade, Mrs. Sumrall just took him under her wing and have him the confidence he needed. She took time out and personally bought/ordered special paper for him to help him with his writing and she had so many strategies to get him to learn and his grades rose tremendously from the previous year. I am so thankful to have had Mrs. Sumrall in my son's life. She is truly a special teacher and one my son and I will remember always.
