Description: |
Ann and Nate Levine Academy offers a high academic education for
children from 3 months through 8th grade. Ann and Nate Levine Academy
engages the mind and body, while nurturing the soul of each student in
an environment grounded in Jewish morals and ethics. Inspiring teachers
guide students through a challenging curriculum of general and Jewish
studies, instilling confidence in our graduates and a commitment to
personal and social responsibility, lifelong learning, and the
continuity of the Jewish people. Small class size enables students to
receive the individual attention and guidance they deserve. We tailor
specific education plans based on each child’s individual needs to help
him or her achieve full academic potential. Students develop tools for
self-learning, analytic thinking and the confidence to question and
probe in their search for truth. Personal growth and character is
strengthened through extracurricular activities such as band, choir,
sports, and art, as well as educational trips to New York, Washington,
D.C. and Israel. Levine Academy is open to students of any race, color,
and national origin who are being raised within the traditions of
normative Judaism. |

Teaching philosophy: |
Levine Academy is dedicated to an education of high
academic standards and acquisition of knowledge and skills that ensure
success in life. Levine Academy also understands that success in life is
measured by more than intellectual competence and that education
includes the development of emotional and spiritual intelligence. A
truly successful education is one that takes into account how a student
sees him or herself as a complete human being in the world. Therefore,
Levine Academy established an Ethical Covenant that helps enrich school
experiences and ultimately lays the foundation for the type of adults
our children will become. Those values in the Ethical Covenant are:
Caring, Citizenship, Holiness, Responsibility, Justice, Respect, and
Integrity. |
