Arlington Classics Academy is an

Teaching philosophy: |
As a public school, we teach the state
curriculum, the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills. We also
teach the Core Knowledge Sequence curriculum. In addition to academic
excellence, ACA stresses “knowledge for a lifetime” and students receive
instruction in music, art and Spanish beginning in Kindergarten. |

Application timeline: |
Enrollment period extends from the first
Monday in February to the second Friday in March. If there are
more applicants than available spaces for a grade, a lottery will be
conducted. |

Application fee: |
The ACA PTO charges a $95 per year
Partners in Learning fee to cover various expenses. |
|
Interviews & testing: |
All potential students are assessed to
determine their level in Math, Reading and Writing. A mandatory meeting
between parents and the Director of Education to discuss the results of
the assessment is then conducted. |
